THE CALL — WEEK 2
When God Calls You, He Sends You
Before Isaiah could be sent, he had to be willing.
Before Saul could be used, he had to obey.
The call is what God speaks — the assignment is what you do next.
This week we move from hearing → following → doing.
Scripture Passages
Isaiah 6 : 8 – 9
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
‘Whom shall I send?
And who will go for us?’
And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’
He said, ‘Go and tell this people…’”
John 10 : 27
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
Acts 9 : 6—
“Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
Lesson Points
1. The Assignment Begins with Obedience
God rarely gives the whole plan — He gives the next step.
Obedience is the doorway to clarity.
2. The Assignment Is Specific
Your obedience meets God’s intention.
He calls you to a people, a place, a purpose.
3. The Assignment Requires Leaving Something
You cannot carry your old life into your new assignment.
Departure precedes destiny.
4. The Assignment Is Confirmed by Fruit, Not Feelings
Feelings fluctuate — fruit remains.
The proof of your assignment is the fruit it produces.
5. The Assignment Is Not Private
The call is personal, but the assignment is public.
Someone’s breakthrough is waiting on your obedience.
Memory Verse
Ephesians 2 : 10
“We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
What You’ll Learn — Week 2: THE ASSIGNMENT
How obedience unlocks clarity.
How to identify the specific people and places tied to your calling.
Why leaving comfort is essential for growth.
How to recognize fruit as confirmation of purpose.
Why your assignment is meant to be lived out publicly.
Closing Declaration
“Here am I. Send me.”
This is not just a phrase — it’s a posture of surrender and movement.
Closing Prayer
Father, reveal the assignment clearly.
Give courage to obey even when the full picture isn’t visible.
Let our steps align with Your sending.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As you move from hearing God’s call to stepping into the assignment He has prepared for you, take
time to slow down and reflect. These questions are designed to help you identify the step of
obedience in front of you, the direction God is pointing you toward, and the places where He is
inviting you to leave the familiar behind. Let these moments of reflection shape your movement this week.
Reflection Questions — Week 2: THE ASSIGNMENT
1. What step of obedience is God asking you to take right now?
Not the whole plan — the next step. What is the “get up and go” moment God is highlighting for you?
2. Where do you sense God sending you?
A person, a place, a community, a need — what assignment keeps stirring in your spirit?
3. What is God calling you to leave behind?
What mindset, habit, relationship, identity, or comfort zone must you release to walk in your assignment?
4. Where have you already seen fruit from your obedience?
Look for evidence — even small signs — that God is confirming your assignment.
5. Who is on the other side of your “yes”?
Who might experience breakthrough, healing, or clarity because you step into your assignment?
