Called to Restore Identity
We Are Entrusted exists to help believers lay down the false identities they’ve carried and return to who God says they are. In a world full of noise, labels, and spiritual confusion, we slow down. We listen. We return to Scripture. Line upon line. Precept upon precept. One step at a time.
This ministry is built on a simple conviction:
Identity is not discovered — it is received.
And when you receive who God says you are, everything changes.
My Story
My story isn’t complicated, but it is honest. As a young college student, I drifted into a life of addiction. That season was the darkest part of my life. I truly believed my path was leading either to jail or an early grave, and I didn’t see any way out.
Everything changed when my wife became pregnant with our first child. In that moment, I saw the kind of father I wanted to be — and the kind of man I was becoming. That realization pushed me to seek help, and by God’s grace, I found it in a drug treatment program at a hospital named Mount Sinai. I didn’t understand the significance of that name then, but I do now.
While in the program, I was introduced to God through a simple daily prayer we were required to memorize — the Serenity Prayer. I prayed it every day, even after I was discharged, until I realized something: God was answering. He showed me that I couldn’t change my past, but that He would walk with me into my future. That was the beginning of my journey in the Word, with the Holy Spirit as my teacher.
For the last 43 years, that journey has shaped my voice, my calling, and my clarity. I’ve taught every week, led worship, served as an elder, and helped build ministries that point people back to God. I’ve watched Him restore lives, heal identities, and call people into who they truly are.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something:
God wasn’t just restoring my identity — He was entrusting me with a message.
A message for anyone who has ever carried a false identity.
A message for anyone who has ever believed the wrong story about themselves.
A message for anyone who needs to hear God say, “You are Mine.”
That message is now the heart of this ministry.
This is why We Are Entrusted exists — to help believers rediscover who God says they are and walk in that truth, one step at a time.
How I Teach and Why
My approach to teaching is simple: I believe God’s Word was meant to be understood. For years, I’ve watched people struggle with confusion, tradition, or complicated explanations that make the Bible feel out of reach. But the Father never intended His voice to be hard to hear. So I teach in a way that is clear, honest, and rooted in Scripture, line upon line and precept upon precept.
I focus on breaking down truth in plain language, because I’ve learned that clarity brings freedom. When people understand what God actually said — not what they assumed, inherited, or were told by someone else — identity begins to shift. Lies lose their power. Hearts open. And people start to walk in who they really are.
Everything I teach comes from that place: helping you hear God clearly, understand His Word simply, and walk it out confidently in your everyday life. This is the heart of We Are Entrusted — restoring identity through the clarity of Scripture.
The Entrusted Pathway
We Are Entrusted is more than a message — it’s a pathway back to the identity and mission God entrusted to His people.
Through teachings, music, resources, and discipleship tools, believers learn to:
• lay down false identities
• receive who God says they are
• be restored to the ministry of reconciliation
• carry the word entrusted to the church
• walk as ambassadors who reveal the Father’s heart
• live from identity, not for identity
• join the restoration God is stirring in His people
This pathway is not just about personal transformation — it’s about returning to the calling Jesus gave His church.
This is a journey you don’t walk alone.
This is a community learning to live entrusted.
Walk With Me
My heart is to walk with people the same way God has walked with me — with patience, clarity, and truth. If anything in my story or my teaching has spoken to you, I’d love for you to keep journeying with me. Whether it’s through the music, the teachings, or the resources I create, my hope is that you find something that helps you hear God more clearly and walk in the identity He’s already given you.
You’re welcome here. You’re seen. You’re valued. And I’m grateful to walk with you as you keep growing in truth — learning to live entrusted, one step at a time.
