PART 1 – THE COVENANT WRITTEN ON THE HEART
Why the New Covenant Didn’t Remove the Law — It Relocated It
Jeremiah 31:33
“I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts…”
Identity was never meant to be shaped by pressure from the outside.
It was always meant to be formed by God’s work on the inside.
Before you ever tried to obey…
before you ever succeeded or failed…
before you ever understood covenant language…
God made a promise.
A promise to write His law —
not on stone…
not on tablets…
but on the human heart.
This is the foundation of the New Covenant.
Not law erased.
Not law replaced.
Law relocated.
This is covenant language —
God Himself taking responsibility
to form obedience from the inside out
by His Spirit,
His voice,
and His inscription.
This is why the New Covenant is not fragile.
It is not something you perform your way into.
It is not something you maintain by effort.
It is something God writes —
and what He writes, He sustains.
The New Covenant begins with His promise,
continues by His Spirit,
and is fulfilled in the heart He transforms.
What You’ll Learn
1. The New Covenant Is Not Law Removed, but Law Relocated
You’ll see directly from Scripture that God never promised to erase His covenant—He promised to rewrite it in a new location: the human heart.
2. Why Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8 Are the Foundation of the New Covenant
You’ll learn why these two passages are the clearest, most authoritative descriptions of the New Covenant—and why everything else must be interpreted through them.
3. How the “House of Israel” Includes Every Believer in Jesus
You’ll discover how the New Testament reveals that followers of Jesus are grafted into the covenant family—not by ethnicity, but by union with Christ.
4. The Identity Shift That Happens in Christ
You’ll understand how Ephesians 2, Romans 11, and Galatians 3 redefine your spiritual identity and place you inside the covenant God made with His people.
5. Why the New Covenant Is a Promise, Not a Contract
You’ll see that the New Covenant is something God does—He writes, He forms, He inscribes—not something we negotiate or perform.
6. How the Holy Spirit Becomes the Writer of the Covenant
You’ll learn that the Spirit Himself is the One who writes God’s law on the heart, forming obedience from the inside out.
7. Why This Revelation Changes How We See Love, Obedience, and Discipleship
You’ll see that obedience is not pressure—it’s partnership. Not external force—but internal formation.
